What we do
The Air Quality Management Division (AQMD) implements clean air solutions that protect the quality of life for the citizens of Reno, Sparks, and Washoe County through community partnerships along with programs and services such as air monitoring, permitting and compliance, planning, and public education.

Open: Monday–Friday 8 a.m. – 4:30 p.m.*
(no payments will be accepted after 4pm at the EHS office)
Closed: 8-10am the fourth Thursday of every month.**
*Permits requiring monetary transactions must be completed by 4:00 p.m., including plan submittals.
**Exception is November and December (closed 8-10am the third Thursday)
