Erin Dixon, MS is the Division Director of Environmental Health Services.

Erin began her career at the Northern Nevada Public Health (NNPH) in the spring of 2002. She has a strong passion for public health and is focused on improving the health outcomes for the citizens and visitors of Washoe County. Over her nearly two decades of service she has held multiple positions at the Health District, including Program Coordinator, Fiscal Compliance Officer, Public Health Supervisor, and Division Director.

Environmental Health ensures compliance with local, state, and federal laws regulating food, waste, water, vector and other areas of public health in Washoe County. There is a strong educational component to the programs and a collaborative approach with industry and the public to meet public health goals.

Outside of work, Erin enjoys spending time with her family. She enjoys the great outdoors and is an avid hiker, a want-to-be mountain biker, and a mediocre skier. Through it all, she is always grateful that she gets to call the Truckee Meadows home.
